In the fall of 2006, my parents, Nick and Joyce Farr, read about a portable space heater that the late Paul Harvey was endorsing.  After purchasing one, they were so happy with the way it heated their living room and kitchen that my dad, being recently retired from the tire business, decided that he wanted to sell them.  He acquired a dealership from EdenPURE®, and began selling EdenPURE® heaters in Middletown, Camp Hill, and Jonestown, PA, under the name Farr Family Sci Tech Heat.

In January of 2008, after working 25 years in the Computer Field, I joined my dad and we proceeded to sell 2250 heaters in 2008.  Farr Family Sci Tech served over 5000 customers in 2006, 2007, and 2008.  In May 2009, I assumed the business and changed the name  to FARR TECH HEAT, operating from one central location in Camp Hill, Pa.

I continue to offer a variety of infrared heaters including the EdenPURE® Gen 3, American Comfort, and The Comfort Furnace far infrared zone heaters. In addition, a full service repair center for ANY make space heater. I am thoroughly knowledgable with the mechanical aspect of  each model and how they operate.
