True Far Infrared Technology…

It’s Unique and Safe!

The concept of FAR Infrared technology is nothing new, we experience it every day from, the sun.

This principle exists in our quartz infrared heaters,making them safe and efficient. Inside the FAR Infrared heater, quartz infrared light creates heat that is transferred to the air via copper heat exchangers and stainless steel diffusers. There is no carbon monoxide or harmful radiation created. And, most importantly, far infrared heat will not reach a temperature that causes combustion.

How does the Far Infrared evenly heat a room?

Our Far Infrared heaters exhale warmth into the air by using the existing humidity in the room.

This causes the heat to travel rapidly and evenly throughout the room. Thermal imaging tests show the Far Infrared heater efficiently distributes heat throughout a room – much more efficiently than common coil and PTC heaters, which simply warm the air. In addition, Far Infrared heat is a “soft heat” that it is especially comfortable and relaxing.

How can Far Infrared heat be healthier?

Combustion heaters create dry, irritating indoor air that can deplete your body’s natural moisture and increase your susceptibility to illness. They also burn a great deal of oxygen – which can actually make you feel tired and fatigued. The Far Infrared heater causes none of this.

Why are our Far Infrared portable zone heaters so popular with children and pets?

Besides the fact that there are no exposed heating elements on all the zone heaters we sell, children and pets are actually drawn to a Far Infrared heater because it is a natural source of heat – very similar to how the sun heats the earth.

How can you cut your heating bill with a Far Infrared zone heater?

First, the Far Infrared zone heaters use less energy to create heat than many other sources. Therefore, you can turn the heat down in your house as low as 50 degrees, yet the room you are in will be warm and comfortable. When you move to another room, the portable heater goes with you. Its wheels make relocation a snap.

Our portable Far Infrared zone heaters work by:

1. A quiet, energy-efficient fan recycles heated air from the living area through the filter into the heat exchanger chamber.

2. Solid copper heat exchangers or stainless steel diffusers absorb heat from quartz infrared heating elements. The heat is then transferred to the air. This heating approach protects recycled air from loss of humidity and does not produce vaporized impurities and other pollutants.

3. Maximum heat transfer occurs as the air passes through and around the exchangers, increasing temperature for re-entry into the living area.

4. Clean, comfortable heated air gently flows into living area, mixing and stabilizing air at the floor for more even temperature distribution, and more effective floor-level circulation and recycling.

 

This is the ‘PTC’ heating element.  While it is durable, it does not give the same benefits as a TRUE Far Infrared heating element. Heaters that use PTC elements include the I-HEATER,  DR. HEATER, Red Core, Pure Comfort, and a host of other spinoffs that are saturating the market. Research before you buy!
